Paul
J - Lead
Paul J
has had a passion for music for as long as he can remember - coming
from South Wales it was part of the job description. Work prevented him
from committing time to a choir, but since his recent retirement he has
fulfilled his ambition of learning to sing properly.
He was
smitten by barbershop singing in 1987 when he attended, by chance, the
International Convention in Hartford, Connecticut and longed to be part
of that sound ever since.
Apart
from singing Lead with Meltdown, Paul's a member of the Royal
Harmonics a cappella chorus, and is a keen thespian with the
Maidenhead Players. He hates 'white spaces' in his life, so he also
sails, skis and runs thirty miles a week.
Paul
spent his career travelling the world as an HR specialist with several
multi-national companies, predominantly in the pharmaceutical and
consumer products sectors, and currently lives in Windsor.
